Bensville Riding School Terms and conditions

We endeavor to respond to all enquiries within 3 business days.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to refuse entry to our property and participation in any activities provided by us. Bensville Riding School reserves the right to change or alter the booking for safety reasons or in extreme weather conditions. We also reserve the right to stop any of our participants from continuing in an activity session, if our safety instructions are not followed and / or if the passenger(s) behave in an unacceptable manner.
Customers will be refused a session if they appear to be affected by Alcohol or Drugs of any kind. In this situation refunds are not permitted.

Please be aware that all our sessions are subject to the prevailing weather conditions.  As such, customers accept the risk that weather conditions they consider unsatisfactory may occur on the date booked.

Our Regular Cancellation Policy states that:

More than 2 days (48 hours or more) prior to session
100% of the booking value may be reissued as customer credit.
Refunds not permitted.

Less than 2 days (48 hours) prior to session
No Refund
No Credit

Unless Bensville Riding School decides otherwise due to medical and emergency conditions.

In the rare event that Bensville Riding School needs to cancel or postpone for any reason, for example but not limited to, extreme weather conditions, safety or security,  minimum numbers not being achieved etc:
Bookings may be transferred to another date, person or reissued as an open customer credit.
Refunds not permitted.

You agree to the following terms and conditions from Bensville Riding School  (ABN 67 100 544 518) trading as Bensville Riding School pty Ltd. It is a condition of making a booking (via online, email, phone or in person) with Bensville Riding School that all participants agree to be bound by and accept our full Terms and Conditions including our Cancellation Policy below.

  • Minimum age is 3 years for rides. 

  • The use of a helmet is compulsory and must always be worn when Horse Riding.

  • Our instructor's direction must always be followed.

  • no drugs or alcohol are permitted. We value the safety of all our riders.  If staff are concerned for your / other customers safety because of intoxication, you will not be permitted to ride.

  • Enclosed footwear and long pants are required for this activity.

 

Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. You can pay online via our website, bank deposit or via EFTPOS at our reception.

 

Forms / Waivers
Important Information. Please note: All participants, or guardians acting on behalf of minor participants, are required to sign a contract which includes a waiver of liability and important information describing some of the risks of the activity before being permitted to participate in any of our adventure activities.  

You are hereby warned and agree that entering Bensville Riding School, entering site and/or participating in any of the activities we provide are inherently dangerous recreational activities pursuant to the Civil Liability Act, 2002.  If you choose to do so, you do so entirely at your own risk waiving all rights to claim for personal injuries including damages arising from the negligence of the proprietor.

All participants are required to sign a waiver of liability before the commencement of your activity. This confirms amongst other things that you are aware of, understand and accept that there are inherent risks associated with your proposed activity and that if you do decide to participate in an activity you do so entirely at your own risk.

Late arrival / Missed session
Bensville Riding School asks that all customers arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their booked session. No refunds will be provided for late arrivals and / or “no shows”. If you are running late please be advised that we cannot hold the ride for your late arrival, other customers may have other activities afterwards. 

Complaints / Feedback
All complaints must be received in a timely manner (up to 30 days after the event). No response will be made to complaints received after this period.

FAQ's

Where to go -
Bensville Riding School is located at 8 Bula Place, Bensville NSW 
Please park in the car park and enter through the gate to the right to meet your instructor.

​

What to wear-
Long pants, enclosed shoes with a heel (boots if possible) Sunscreen.
Helmets will be proved.

 

When to get here-
Please arrive 10minutes before your lesson time, this allows enough time to fill out an insurance form and collect a helmet. (1 insurance form will need to be filled in annually)

 

Who can ride-
We welcome riders of all ages and abilities, adults and children both attend our riding school for lessons, trails, horse care sessions and equine assisted therapy.
Age, riding ability and general abilities don't hold our riders back, we cater to everyone and offer ground lessons if riding is not an option for an individual.

NDIS & Equine Therapy-
We offer 30minute & 60minute sessions for both individuals and groups.
BRS has a plan for everyone, we offer groundwork, groom & pat, horse care and riding lessons to suit any ability level.
